Battery Car Collides With Supermarket Window
Wednesday, 14 July 2004
Police and the ambulance service were called to Sainsbury's in Northgate Street, Gloucester, at 11am yesterday, Tuesday July 13, after reports that a battery car had driven through a glass window.

An 82-year-old Gloucester woman lost control of the vehicle while inside the store and collided with the window, causing it to splinter.

She was not hurt during the incident but was treated at the scene for shock.

The glass window was made safe by security staff before glaziers arrived.
